What is the difference between a main rack and an add-on rack?
The difference is the upright structure. A main rack is a starter unit with 2 uprights, while an add-on rack is an extension unit with only 1 upright. For example, if there are 15 racks linked in a row against a wall, the configuration will be 1 main rack + 14 add-on racks.
