1. Working Principle: Gravity shelves, also known as roller shelves, utilize beam drum tracks set at a 3-5° tilt. Cargo handling with a forklift pallet to the shelf stock mouth relies on gravity so the tray automatically flows from the loading end to pick up at the other end. Gravity shelves belong to high-efficiency FIFO (First-In, First-Out) storage systems.
2. Application Scope: Ideal for storing large quantities and limited varieties of uniform goods, offering exceptionally high space utilization.
Goods are placed at the high end and slide down to be retrieved at the low end. Dampers control the sliding speed within a safe range, and separation separators allow handling machinery to pick items smoothly.
